scnly is operated by Harbor Privacy. These terms are between you and Harbor Privacy.
The service
scnly makes dynamic QR codes. Each code is a short link on scnly.co that sends people to a web address you choose and can change.
What happens when your paid period ends
- Day 0 is the day your last paid period ends, whether you cancelled or a payment failed after retries.
- For 60 days after day 0, your codes redirect exactly as before. No banner, no ads. You can't add or edit codes, but you can reactivate, export or cancel at any time.
- After 60 days your codes are paused. Scanning one shows a plain page saying it is paused. Nothing is deleted.
- Paused codes are kept for 12 months. If you resubscribe in that time they come back with the same links and scan history.
- After 12 months of being paused the short link is retired and the destination is erased.
The free plan has its own limits (one dynamic code and 1,000 scans a month). A free code that reaches its monthly limit pauses until the next month.
Exceptions
We can pause a code immediately for abuse (for example links flagged as malware or phishing), fraud, or a chargeback. We will email you when we do.
Your responsibilities
Don't point codes at illegal, deceptive or harmful pages. Reports are reviewed and flagged codes are paused.
Liability and changes
The service is provided as is. We may change these terms and will email you before a change that affects the 60 day promise. Questions: hello@www.scnly.co.
